How It Got Started

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is happiness, peace, love, humility, and being true to self. 
I want to make a change and use my voice to advocate for the unheard. I love nursing, the good, bad, unknown. While furthering my education I realized being a nurse is more than being at the bedside. It is utilizing our voice to make a change, be leaders, educators, advocates. Furthermore, I realized that there is a gap in what we discuss in healthcare and I want to have uncomfortable conversations on all topics. From pay gender pay gaps to unhealthy work enviroment to disparities that different races face.
